Marvel Realtors supports causes such as education for labourer’s children, and health and sanitation awareness.
 

• Marvel works closely with Tara Creche’s, a Pune based NGO. Over 130 children attended day care centres around Pune and are provided with healthy meals, medical facilities and regular check-ups. The focus is to make these children well- rounded individuals. Anita Basavraj Kohli, a labourer at Marvel Zephyr stated, “I am a mother of two children 3 and 5 years. My husband and I are very happy our children are going to school and educating themselves. They come home and share their day’s activity with us, like their sports, drawings, games which make us feel happy and proud of them”.

• Marvel is also associated with Door Step School. The Door Step School at the Marvel Diva site addresses the needs of children in the age group of 6 to 14 who do not have access to formal schools by running Educational Activity Centres at construction sites.

• On its other projects such as Bounty, Azure, Isola, Sangria and Aurum, Marvel employs teachers and teaching assistants to educate the children.

• Marvel works with Bharatiya Vidya Peeth, who organizes free medical check-ups and treatment for labourers and their families. This initiative is called ‘Mother and Child’ and is funded by the Maharashtra State Government.

• Marvel also supports the work of the Maharashtra State AIDS Control Society to organize AIDS awareness sessions and free check-ups for the labourers.
