Inception
The Marvel journey started in 2000, when Mr. Vishwajeet Jhavar wanted to invest in a luxury apartment in Pune. But wherever he looked, he found homes that were either not luxurious or good value for money. Not to mention, the unscrupulous developers. Back then, he felt the need-gap for a developer who is professional, transparent and understands spatial luxury. To meet this, he founded Marvel Realtors in 2001, along with like-minded individuals. And set out on a mission to provide the ‘sensible side of luxury’ to customers. A journey that has seen Marvel develop 24 million sq. ft. in Pune, foray into commercial spaces, and make inroads in Mumbai, Bangalore and Goa.
Pioneers
Marvel is a company of many firsts in realty. It launches projects only after all requisite sanctions are at hand. It pushes the envelope in areas like architectural aesthetics, timely delivery of projects and an all round professional approach. Thanks to its in-house design and project management team. As a result, routine checks on quality and cost & time over-runs during construction are the norm at Marvel.
Other firsts include providing landscaped terraces, private plunge pool, home automation as standard, and sharing of Auto-cad drawings with clients, at a time when no one else did. Marvel also follows an inside-out approach in design – living spaces first, facade later. This is why Marvel projects are more spacious than most. Marvel also collaborates with the best in the design business like EcoPlan Asia, HB Design, SHMA Design, Matteo Messervy, SquadOne and Sitetectonix. Customers also get to tailor-make their homes during construction; each stage of which is visible to them on a CRM portal – a place where paperwork and payments also get updated. All in all, Marvel has transformed realty into a service industry.
